Video 21.2 Imaging of a neonatal coarctation of the aorta (COA) from the suprasternal notch view
Imaging of a neonatal coarctation of the aorta (COA) from the suprasternal notch view. A coarctation ridge is located ~5 mm below the origin of the left subclavian artery. An additional obstruction coexists at the aortic ampula of the arterial duct. Flow acceleration exceeding 1.24 m/s identified by color aliasing occurs at the site of aortic ductal tissue as well as at the level of the coarctation shelf.
