Video 20.22 Glenn shunt connecting the superior vena cava to the right pulmonary artery
The branch pulmonary arteries are often difficult to see by echo after the second stage of reconstruction. This is a demonstration of a Glenn shunt connecting the superior vena cava to the right pulmonary artery. Notice that the portion of the native right pulmonary artery just to the left of the anastomosis to the SVC can be seen by 2D as it passes under the bulbous reconstructed aortic arch.
