Evaluation of atrial septum. This is a subcostal long-axis image of the atrial septum. The color Doppler reveals that there is a right-to-left shunt at the atrial level, typical of pulmonary atresia and intact ventricular septum. This is an example of a widely sprung foramen ovale.
