Video 30.5 Parasternal short-axis view in a patient with anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the right aortic sinus of Valsalva
Parasternal short-axis view in a patient with anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the right aortic sinus of Valsalva with an intramural and interarterial course. This movie again illustrates the utility of obtaining a cine loop and using a slow playback. In this way, the origin of the coronary artery with respect to the intercoronary commissure of the aortic valve is understood, and the interarterial and intramural course is shown to advantage. With the addition of color Doppler, prograde flow is demonstrated in the intramural segment.
