Suprasternal notch short-axis sweep in a patient with truncus type II and interrupted aortic arch type A. Note that the innominate artery, left carotid artery and left subclavian artery arise from the ascending aorta which then interrupts. The two branch pulmonary arteries can also be seen arising from the posterior aspect of the truncal root.
