Video 21.22 High parasternal short-axis view in a neonate with an interrupted aortic arch
High parasternal short-axis view in a neonate with an interrupted aortic arch. The large pulmonary trunk trifurcates (“Neptune’s fork”) giving rise to right and left pulmonary arteries as well as to the large arterial duct widely connected to the descendent thoracic aorta. A connection with the aortic arch could not be identified. Note that the bicuspid aortic valve is also visualized in the center of the clip.
