Type B interrupted aortic arch as seen from the suprasternal approach viewing the region of soft tissue between the left carotid and left subclavian arteries. The left carotid artery is supplied antegradely from the aorta, while the left subclavian artery is supplied via the arterial duct from the pulmonary trunk. The distance between the proximal and distal aorta exceeds 10 mm.
