This second 3D image demonstrating a Blaylock – Taussig shunt shows a significant narrowing at the insertion of the shunt into the right pulmonary artery along with a narrowing of the medial right pulmonary adjacent to the shunt insertion site. This technology is evolving and will become more clinically useful as the range of available 3D frequencies improves.
